Everyday we all wake up and look around us, to see exactly where we are headed, if anywhere. This country is currently looking rather bleak, but I have faith that, despite the last eight years, things can be turned around. The first thing that this country needs to STOP doing, is catering to those selfish, greedy, SOB's who think they deserve EVERY damn THING! Oh hey, I showed up almost everyday, I think I rightfully deserve a million dollar bonus! Sound far-fetched? Naw, not so much, these people need to be put in check. Too many folks are maxed-out on credit cards from trying to feed their families, and keep the roof over their heads, and we have these people with their pockets filled, worried about the stock market..well let's face it, most of do not have to worry about that...we have no damn money to put IN the stock market! I think the market should just CRASH! That's right, CRASH..I do not give a damn at ALL, who agrees or disagrees with me, it does not concern me. I think Obama should REALLY make history, and level it all out, and clean the slates and start all over again. That is the only way the 'little' people have a snowballs chance in hell! Not that I am under the illusion that government cares about the little people. It is a shame, that I see so many people in line at the damn supermarket adding up their items, over and over, until they feel sure they have enough money, to cover the small amount of food items they have riding down the belt! THAT is a shame...NOT some selfish, A@&hole who is crying over losing his vacation home, you know the third one, in the Bahama's, because it is so damn special to him!! These people do not fret over buying groceries, hell they do not even buy them, they have 'people' to do all that trivial stuff for them, God forbid they have to rub elbows with the common folk....ANYWAY, I was not really planning on this long blowing of hot air..but I like reading peoples views, and seeing their take on the way things are going..I see a hell of a lot of FEAR...and that is so very sad! Here are some views I thought was kind of interesting:
Lawyers like Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela & Mahatma Gandhi are compassionate. “With compassion, one becomes courageous,” says Lao-tzu. Even so, they endure the five illusions of greed, anger, stupidity, arrogance, and doubt the same as we all do. Yet, it is said, “Even a tarnished mirror will shine like a jewel if it is polished. A mind which at present is clouded by illusions originating from innate darkness of life is like a tarnished mirror, but once it is polished it will become clear, reflecting the enlightenment of immutable truth.”Today, more lawyers, legal specialists, and open-minded leaders are polishing their lives, working to integrate insightful awareness into modern life in order to create a more just, compassionate and reflective society. After all, peace making was their original calling. And if we go by the words of Gandhi, "When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won."(Nice thoughts..but lawyers? really?)

With the economy in the dumper and the hope of partisanship to be a thing of past it is not happening. Hope is a great thing but hope without action is just a wish. We the people need to demand of the democrats and the republicans accountability. We need transparency when they pass a bill so we can see where our money goes. AND most of all WE also need to stop the rhetoric. Our very survival depends on our being able to come to action to support each other, to build the bridges, to check up on our neighbors so that they don't freeze to death because their electricity is shut off. We can not expect 100 senators and 400 and some odd representatives to do the work and make the decisions that effect us every day we need to make them aware we need to take responsibility to become educated on our needs in our areas and how to accomplish them so stop wishing for the old days, stop wishing for things to get better, work at makin them get better, help find a way, in the sixty's we had an expression if your not part of the solution you are part of the problem. Stop acting as if you are entitled, you aren't, everything you have is a blessing, treasure it and protect it don't expect it. (AMEN TO THAT)

I miss the Clinton/Gingrich days of a balanced budget.
It used to be that a few tens of billions of dollars was debated for months.
Now we have Pelosy and Obama throwing out a trillion dollars like it's nothing!
(If you listen to Republicans-It was Clinton who 'caused this whole mess', but we know they never accept blame for their actions! Yes Dan, we did have a balanced budget with Bill, I do not give two shits how many blow-jobs he received while in the white house, hope he had it checked though, with pigs like Monica out there 'looking to get ahead' HA...anyway, money has to be generated out here, or there will be no economy!! Even I get that...and I am as politically INCORRECT as one can get!)

People keep bringing up the idea that Obama is a socialist.
Well, here is a link to the Democratic Socialists of America -http://www.dsausa.org/dsa.html
Check this out. Reading this i'd say that we've had a lot of Presidents who followed bits and pieces of this philosophy, including Thomas Jefferson. Now, check out the mission of the Democratic Party -http://www.democrats.org/a/party/stand.html
Now, that sounds more like Obama. Big surprise. He's a Democrat! On the other hand, the Republican party is nothing like it claims to be anymore - a party of fiscally conservative who fought to balance budgets and live conservative lives.
Read about it here:http://www.gop.com/About/AboutRead.aspx?Guid=a747a888-0ae6-4441-94f4-2a3a6561f872
Interesting to note that it shows LOTS of signs of what people are now calling Socialist - freeing slaves and offering women and blacks equal opportunity. And gosh, nowhere in this does it connect the Christian Right with the Republican party - because our constitution guarantees separation of church and state.Nixon may well have been the last true Republican. He did not live in luxury, and abhored it, which WAS a Republican trait. He was non-religious, or at least did not incorporate church into state activities and mandates. And it wasn't a Repubican who balanced the budget, it was the much reviled Democrat Clinton with his republican senate and republican house. Oh well, all that went to hell once Bush got in!(Thanks for the links...I did check them out, and I totally agree about Clinton and Bush!)

President Lincoln was killed by a no account actor, we all know that. But why?
Because he prevailed over the bigotry of the South? That's what they want you to believe.
I did a little research into it. Lincolns' actions reveal that he thought the central banking system was a scam. He made the business of currency creation a treasury affair so that only government could print money. It was the bankers who had him killed.
In the 60's JFK was about to do the same thing and he was killed. While "we the people" seem to be caught up with the things that are different about each other, such as man vs woman, black vs white vs red skin vs yellow and every other pitifully insignificant characteristic of humanity, the "elite" the ruling class, are loving every minute of it. God tells you to love your fellow man , to be your brothers keeper. The rulers keep reminding you of the reasons you should not! We were not put on this planet to be subservient to a handful of our fellow humans who are so self-serving and greedy that they would destroy Gods' good earth just so they could remain in power over the masses. By bickering amongst each other over the very things that make us individuals we play right into the plans the elite have for us. Don't you get it? Class warfare is what we are in the middle of. When working people fight with each other, the elite go unnoticed. Wake up America, who was it that said "a house divided cannot stand?" Since we can not change each other let each of us start with I. (Wow, very interesting take..and I always thought the butler was responsible, now to find it was really the Banker!? I can believe that, look at the mess they are in today!)

Filing bankruptcy is very much UNDERrated. Glad I was able to oblige. Chapter 7, if you please. Filing any other type of bankruptcy and being able to have steady enough income to make payments means you're not QUITE so bad off. Probably.
